The Design for Dignity SIG (D4D-SIG) brings people together to explore how human dignity can be defined, recognized and embedded in design. We see dignity as a dynamic, context-dependent and under explored value that requires collective reflection and experimentation. We aim to connect researchers, practitioners, and communities in the Netherlands, Nepal, and beyond to think along with us and to co-develop frameworks, methods, and teaching tools. Over the coming 3 years, we will host meetings, workshops, and events to initiate dialogue, extend collaborations, and share updates on D4D. Interested? Join us in thinking about, understanding, and co-creating ways to design for dignity in research, practice, and education.
