DDfV Playground Meetings – Program 2019-2020
The program of DDfV Playground Meetings for the new academic year has been released. Dates of the playground meetings can now be found in the Events section.
Upon request, we are changing our cadance a bit. Sticking to the 3rd week of each month, the meetings take place alternately on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The themes of the playground meetings will be published on the website as soon as they are picked. To stay up to date about themes, speakers and possible changes to the schedule, sign up for our monthly newsletter.
The playground meetings are a platform facilitating dialogue with our community and with everyone who’s interested, to explore value-laden topics and to exchange ideas and insights. Ideas for a theme? Any insights, questions and remarks that you would like to brainstorm about during this or future playground meetings? Let us know.
Looking forward to meeting you there!
Playground meetings are DDfV’s informal lunch meetings to brainstorm about design for values topics and sharing ideas and insights. Each meeting is centered around a specific value or research theme, like ‘design for autonomy’, or ‘value conflict’. Two or three colleagues will present a pitch to kickstart the themed discussion. Everyone working or studying at TUD with an interest in the topics is invited to join in. The meetings are planned monthly in the 3rd week of the month and rotate between the five DDfV faculties.
Let us know your ideas for themes or questions to address during the playgrounds, or to volunteer or nominate someone for a pitch presentation.
