What is the role of machine learning models in the current health crisis? How should AI feature in decision-making processes? What are the limitations of machine learning?

 This episode called “Corona and machine learning” features Emily Sullivan and is hosted by Mandi Astola (both Eindhoven University). They talk about the role of explainability concerning machine learning models.

The podcast series is an initiative of 4TU.Ethics in conjunction with DDfV. In this series, we ask philosophers from 4TU to consider how the pandemic challenges practices and institutions and how ethical reflection can provide a better understanding of these challenges and the response to them.
