Special Covid-19 Issue by Science and Engineering Ethics

The severe and complex COVID-19 pandemic has caused catastrophic harm worldwide. Due to this situation, a variety of ethics issues, including those related to science and engineering, have raised.

A special COVID-19 issue, with papers collected by Science and Engineering Ethics Journal, discusses ethics issues and lessons learned in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. It can provide new insights for the  broader ongoing study of science and engineering ethics.

“The topical collection is especially interested in work at the intersection of the fast-paced, dynamic challenges posed by the pandemic and the more timeless philosophical questions that the field of science and engineering ethics addresses.”

This COVID-19 Issue has been edited by dr.ir.Behnam Taebi, co-Editor-in-Chief of Science and Engineering Ethics.
Besides this, he is an Associate Professor in ethics of technology, works as Scientific Director of the Safety & Security Institute and is affiliated with Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University (2014-2020)
